AI + Research
AI can analyze more. Leadership still requires understanding more.
My doctoral research explores how AI-supported tools may contribute to meaningful conversation, reflection, relational depth, and learning in leadership coaching.

The Research Question
What happens when AI-supported tools become part of reflection in leadership coaching — and how might they influence meaningful conversation, relational depth, and coach learning?
AI can surface information and patterns that may otherwise be difficult to notice. But information alone does not create understanding.
What interests me is what happens between information and insight: how people make meaning from what technology surfaces, what becomes available for reflection, and how that process interacts with trust, presence, and the coaching relationship.
The question is not simply what AI can detect. It is whether — and under what conditions — it can contribute to the human process of development.
More information does not necessarily create deeper understanding. What we do with it matters.
The Inquiry
What becomes possible when AI enters the reflective process?
Information is not insight
AI may make aspects of human interaction more visible. Development depends on how people interpret, question, and make meaning from what becomes visible.
Seeing differently
Reflection can create distance from assumptions, reactions, and patterns that are difficult to recognize while we are inside them. I’m interested in whether AI can contribute to that process.
The relationship still matters
Coaching develops through trust, presence, challenge, and human connection. Any technology introduced into that process should be examined not only for what it adds, but for what it may change.
